Project Description

On this significant project, our team undertook and successfully completed all groundwork and primary structural elements for the new Bereavement Centre at QE Hospital Birmingham. Our scope of work included a variety of specialized civil and structural tasks designed to lay a robust foundation for the facility’s future operations.

Key Works Delivered On-Site:

  • Ground Excavation and Spoil Removal: Over 800 tonnes of spoil were excavated, screened, and responsibly reallocated for reuse across other construction sites—reinforcing our commitment to sustainable practices.

  • On-Site Steel Fabrication: All steelwork was fabricated and assembled directly on-site, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and full compliance with project specifications.

  • Concrete Works: We executed a mass concrete pour utilizing up-and-over pumps, tailored for the structural demands of the facility.

  • Service Infrastructure Installation: Comprehensive installation of new service ducting, ensuring seamless integration of essential utilities.

  • Water Supply Integration: Laid down new water feeds to meet the facility’s operational and safety needs.

  • Brickwork to Substructure: Completed precision brickwork to the substructure, forming the base integrity for further development.
