Project Description

This contract involved extensive underpinning and site clearance works for one of our key clients. The project centered around the stabilization and preparation of a site containing four Victorian buildings—each in a fragile structural state. Our scope focused on ensuring long-term stability while maximizing material reuse and on-site efficiency.

Key Works Delivered On-Site:

  • Concrete Yard Removal & Material Recycling: An existing concrete yard was systematically broken out and crushed on-site. The resulting hardcore material was stockpiled for future reuse within the same project—minimizing waste and reducing import requirements.

  • Underpinning of Victorian Structures: Four Victorian-era buildings were in critical condition, with significant deterioration to their brickwork. Our team executed precise underpinning works in a staged sequence, adhering strictly to the structural engineer’s approved drawings and methodology.

  • Structural Sensitivity & Safety: Given the delicate condition of the buildings, all work was carried out with meticulous attention to structural safety, ensuring preservation of existing heritage elements wherever possible.
